Gupta Dynasty, Chandragupta II (Vikramaditya) (375-415 CE), Gold Dinar, "Lion Slayer" type, Obv: the king standing, is seen mid-hunt, wearing a dhoti and a cap with a pearl string, holding a bow in his right hand with the left releasing the bowstring, the lion is facing the king and seen falling backward probably with an arrow in its mouth, Brahmi legend "(Narendra chandrah Prathitarano Rane Jayatyajayyo Bhuvi Sinha Vikramah)” around the field, Rev: nimbate, goddess Ambika-Lakshmi, seen wearing jewelry on her ears, seated in Vamardhaparyanka pose on couchant Lion to left, the goddess is seen holding a diadem in her right hand and a lotus in her left, whose stem is coming from inside the hand resting on her thigh, tamgha on the top left field, Brahmi legend "Simhavikramah" on the right field, 7.51g, 18.66mm, (Altekar, Bayana Hoard # Pl.
