King George VI, 10 Rupees, Un-Cut, Un-Printed sheet, (SS Breda {a 6941 ton Dutch cargo steamer} on its way to India from England came under the crossfire of two German Heinkel Bombers during the Second World War. It was 23rd December 1940 when the German Bombers sank SS Breda at Badebbeck in Scotland. This ship carried 30 boxes of 'uncut blank watermark paper of King George VI' in sheets made by Portals. It was being transported to Nasik Press in India for printing). These were salvaged byTralic Bay Diving Club in the 1990.. 69X 60 cms.
