Mauryan cast Copper, Vidarbha Region, (300 – 200 BC), Copper Karshapana, a bold square copper coin cast by the ministers of ashoka in vidarbha area of pavani and bhandara.  there is a large stupa at pavani where an ashokan edict and such coins have been discovered. these are rare coins only published in the Numismatic Digest by Dr C S Gupta, 10.91g, 21.95 x 20.86mm, about very fine, Rare.
