| Full Description: These Gold Bugadis with the Chain are flecked with Basra pearls and Rubies from Maharashtra (20th CE).
Bugadi- This tantalizing gold conventional earrings are from Maharashtra region and made with resplendent gold, rubies and pretty Basra pearls. This glistening ear accessory is to be worn as an ear draping in the upper most ear hole. The extended pearl chain mottled with rubies is used as a barrette(hairpin) and is called a "ear chain". It is a very famous embellishment in the Maharashtrian culture.
This antique jewellery is extremely rare to find.
