Maurya Dynasty, Vidarbha region ( 300–200 BC), Cast Copper Karshapana, a bold square copper coin cast by the ministers of Ashoka in Vidarbha area of Pavani and Bhandara. There is a large stupa at Pavani where an Ashokan edict and such coins have been discovered, 9.82g, 22.84 x 21.68mm, about fine.
