Britsh India, 1940, Indian Recruiting Badge, King George VI, Silver & Bronze Medal, Unnamed, Obv: A multi-rayed silver breast badge surmounted by an imperial crown with a suspension ring fitted through the top of the crown. In the center is superimposed a bronze medallion bearing the left-facing crowned profile of King George VI, legend "FOR RECRUITING", Rev: legend "4040", Ribbon: Emerald green divided into three sections interspersed by narrow strips of red and yellow, bar with the ring and clasp, 34.29g, 39.49mm, (MYB 2007 # 332), choice quality, about extremely fine, Rare.
