Hansa ben Came Under the influence of Gandhi Ji and joined India's National Freedom movement. She organized picketing of shops selling foreign cloths as well as liquor shops, and participate in other freedom movement activities with Gandhi Ji. She passed away 4th April 1995.

And Most important is that she only take over the Indian flag for Independence of India on 14th Aug 1947 mid night from Britisses.
