Antique Hairpin 

A Pretty Gold Hairpin with diamond and yellow sapphire. It is in good vintage condition. 
This hairpin is made in India and traditionally worn by Indian brides as part of the elaborate traditional wedding headdress.
It would have been worn in conjunction with other ornaments such as garlands of frangipani blossom, a tiara like comb and a often a large crown like headdress with quivering flower like ornaments set on trembling
