Full Description: Kashmir Sultanate, Fath Shah, Gold Dinar, Obv: kalima shahda in circle, around zarb and AH year, Rev: kibre mamlakat keh muhr-e-daulat ast, sikka-e-fath shah sultan-e-kashmir ast, 11.30g, 19.45mm,(G&G # K 55), about extremely fine, Extremely Rare. Meaning of the couplet is the glory of the kingdom, which is the sun of the state is the coin of Fath Shah of Kashmir. This specimen is of the first reign of the Fath Shah and also the first gold coin issued by this ruler. Goron and Goenka lists this as RR on the rarity scale. |
