Full Description: Kushan Dynasty, Vasudeva I (190-230 AD), Gold Dinar, Obv: Crowned, diademed king standing facing, nimbate, holding trident and sacrificing at altar at left, second trident above fire altar, Bactrian legend around þAONONOþAO BA .. ZΔOηO KOþONO (King of Kings Bazodeo Kushan), nandipada in right field and SWASTIKA symbol between the legs, Rev: lord siva standing facing, holding trident and wreath, the bull nandi standing behind facing the left side with Bactrian legend at left OηþO (OESHO) and tamgha at left within triple dotted circles, 8.05g, 22.20mm, about extremely fine, broad and wide flan, superb quality, Very Rare.
This specimen has crown which is integrated and amalgamated into an exquisite fusion of equivocal proportion in the grandiose statute thus scarce to get. |
