Full Description: 1835, King William IIII, Silver 1/2 Rupee, Calcutta Mint, R.S. incuse, 21 berries (11L + 10R), (PR # 66), Brilliant white UNC, Extremely Rare. Robert Saunders was the mint master who had designed the dies of this variant thus his initials are on the truncation as R.S., in the half rupees of William IIII this R.S. incuse variety comes very seldom. And this particular specimen is in spotless and flawless condition as it has been directly coming from the mint. Great chance to the British India collectors. |
