Satavahana Dynasty, Satakarni I, Kotalingala (Andhra) Region, Copper Karshapana, Obv: an elephant with tusk walking to left with upraised trunk, legend 'siri satakanisa' around, Rev: ujjaini symbol, 1.46g, 14.29 x 12.84mm, about very fine+, Very Rare.

 

Interesting specimen as it clearly shows detailed features of an elephant which does not appear very often on these series.
