Shahjahanpur is presently known as “Shajapur” and is located in central Madhya Pradesh. It became a part of the Sindhias' territory early when Malwa was divided between the Peshwa’ssardarsSindhia, Holkar and Puar. This is an early issue that has no mark on reverse. Later issues show a Trisul symbol. | ||||
