Gupta Dynasty, Kumaragupta I (Mahendraditya) (415-455 AD), Copper Unit, Chhatra type, Obv: the king standing, facing left flanked by an attendant holding a parasol above his head, Rev: Garuda with human hands seated facing forward, Brahmi legend "Maharaja Sri Ku(mara)gupta" below, 4.34g, 15.6mm, (TOTGE, S. Kumar # Chhatra type, Pg. No. 335), choice very fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: Gupta copper is much rarer than gold, silver, and lead. S. Kumar has mentioned only 2 specimens for this type. It is the plate coin of Ancient India Coins Revisited - W. Pieper (coin number 887).
