Full Description: Travancore, Gold Fanam (3), Obv: a stylized lion (sardula) standing right, crescent, and pellet above, Rev: a stylistic boar standing right, the legs represented by the 3 rows, each of 4 dots, 0.4g, 7.00mm each approx, (B.Sarasan # 28), about extremely fine, Rare. Note: This version of rasi/viraraya fanam is also called Erattavalan Rasi. This is referred to as Raja Panam in Dutch records. Used for centuries till Marthanda Varma introduced the Silver Chuckram in 927KE.
