Kushan Dynasty, Huvishka (160-190 AD), Gold Dinar, "OESHO"(Shiva) type, Obv: a diademed and crowned half-length bust of the king facing left emerging from clouds, holding a mace-scepter in one hand and an elephant-goad (ankush) in the other, Bactrian legend "þAONANOþ.........ηþKI KOþANO" “Shaonanoshao Ooishki Koshano” (King of Kings Huvishka, the Kushan) around, Rev: a tetrabachrius depiction of the deity Oesho (Shiva) standing facing left, nimbate, hair in a topknot and wearing a dhoti, pouring holy water from the kamandalu in his horizontally outstretched right hand, holding a damru in another right hand, a trident in his upper-left hand and a left hand is akimbo, an animal (buck or goat) is held by the horns in his lower-left hand, tamgha on the left field, Bactrian legend “OηþO” (OESHO) at right field, dotted border around the field, 7.85g, 20.05mm, (Variant of Gobl # 308/Mitch.
