Vijayanagara Empire, Aravidu Dynasty, Venkatapathiraya III (16 Century AD), Gold 1/2 Varaha, Obv: the god Venkateshwara standing below an ornamental arch facing forward, holding a discus (chakra) and a conch-shell (shankha) in two separate hands while another hand is in the abhayamudra gesture, Rev: Nagari legend "Shri Chalama Venkata raya" in three lines with interlinear rulers, 1.71g, 11.55mm, (Dr. M. Girijapathi # 393), almost uncirculated, Very Rare in this condition.
