| Full Description: Shah Alam Bahadur, Imtiyazgarh (Adoni) Mint, Silver Rupee, 4 RY, crude calligraphy, Obv: Persian legend “Sikka Mubarak Shah Alam Badshah Ghazi”, Rev: Persian legend “sana 4 julus” & “zarb Imtiyazgarh” at the bottom, 11.34g, 21.00mm, (Unlisted type in KM), dotted motifs, no test marks, about extremely fine, Very Rare. Note: The arrangement of the legends on the obverse is different from the listed example in KM # 348.20. This mint was located in the Deccan which could be the reason for the stylistically crude calligraphy.This type is rarer than the usual type. | ||||
