Full Description:

Sikh Chieftaincies in the East, Dehra Raja Mint, Copper Paisa (Falus), AH 12XX/(3)6 RY, In the name of Shah Alam II, Obv: Persian legend “falus Shah Alam Shahi”, with flag symbol, Rev: Persian legend zarb Dehra with sana 36 regnal year, 16.79g, 23.58mmabout fine, Rare.

Note: The mint-name 'Dehra Raja' is most plausibly identified with present Dehradun, which was an important pilgrimage centre for the Udasi branch of the Sikhs. It became a part of Rohilla territories belonging to Najeeb Khan after the battle of Panipat in 1761. After Najeeb Khan's death in 1770, the area was run over by a number of Rajput and Sikh warlords, until in early 1800s,  It is likely that the flag symbol identifies the issue with the 'Jhanda (flag) Festival' held at Dehra in honour of the Udasi Guru, Ram Das.
