Kushan Dynasty, Vasudeva I (190-230 CE), Gold Dinar, "OESHO" (Shiva) type, Obv: the king standing, diademed and nimbate, facing left, sacrificing over an altar, holding a trident in his left hand while a ribboned trident surmounts the altar, Bactrian legend “þAONANOþABA-ZOΔηO KOþANO” "Shaonanoshao Bazodeo Koshano” (King of Kings Vasudeva the Kushan) around the field, Nandipada in right field, Rev: the deity Oesho (Shiva) standing, nimbate, facing forward, hair in a top-knot, holding a trident and diadem, a bull (Nandi) standing behind towards the left field facing forward with its right foreleg raised, Bactrian legend "OηþO" (OESHO) on the right field, tamgha on the left, dotted border around the field, 8.02g, 21.78mm, (Gobl # 640/Jongward & Cribb # 1092), about extremely fine, Very Rare.
