Full Description: Eastern Chalukyas of Vengi (6 Century CE), Copper Unit, Lion type, Obv: a roaring lion standing facing the right, a crude Srivatsa symbol near its mouth, a Shankha above its back towards the end of its tail, a linear border surrounded by dots around the field, Rev: a crude form of a conch shell (Shankha) made of a U-like symbol in the center and two lamp-post-type pillars on either side, a linear border around the field, 1.36g, 12.14mm, (Unlisted), choice extremely fine, Very Rare in this grade. |
