Vijayanagara Kingdom, Tuluva Dynasty, Krishnadevaraya (1509-1530 AD), Gold Varaha, Obv: Balakrishna seated cross-legged, accosted by a conch (right) and a discus (left), with his left hand resting on his left knee and his right hand holding a lump of butter, a beaded bracelet, armlets and anklets adorning his chubby limbs, a crown of peacock feathers on his head, Rev:  Nagari legend “Shri pra/tapa krishna/raya” in three lines with interlinear rules, 3.36g, 11.91mm, (Mitch. K&A # 640/Dr. M. Girijapathi # 156), choice very fine, Rare.
