Satavahana Dynasty, Kochiputra/Kausikiputra Siri Satakarni (100 BC), Nasik Region, Potin Unit, Obv: an elephant walking to right trunk upraised, an Ujjaini symbol and a sacred pot (Kumbha) above, the Brahmi legend “(Rajno) Kochipu(tasa Siri Sata)kanisa" above, Rev: tree in railing with broad leaves within a circle, 6.97g, 23.06mm, (Coinage of Satavahana Empire. Pl. VII # B20), original patina, sharp strikes, choice extremely fine, Scarce.

Note: This round attractive specimen with its original patina intact was issued by Kochiputra in the Nasik region.
