Full Description: British India, King Edward VII, Uniface 10 Rupees, Calcutta Circle, Dated 14 March 1901, Signed by A.F. Cox, Green Underprint, OA Prefix, S. No. OA42 61524, (KJ & RR # 2A.2.1A.9), holes, folds, stains, splits, tears, and minor damage, piece missing from top left, ink stamps at the back, graded by PCGS as 20 Very Fine, Extremely Rare. Note: This banknote from the early Edwardian era was issued within two months of the death of Queen Victoria. These banknotes are usually found as two parts cut that had been attached later together, but this specimen has survived in its entirety. |
