Full Description:

British India, 1938, King George VI, 1000 Rupees, Calcutta Circle, Signed by J.B. Taylor, A Prefix, S. No, A6 258588, (KJ & RR # 4.8.1B), bank seals on the reverse, crisp, exceptional paper quality, without stains, no pinholes, and no folds, XF-AU, Extremely Rare.

Note: This is an outstanding banknote of a high denomination with all choicest qualities intact and no signs of weakening observed. It is extremely rare for a large-sized banknote to survive in this terrific quality, all its colours are intact and strong since the time of its issue and the watermark area being spotlessly white. It has been immaculately preserved since the time of its printing. Banknotes of this quality are extinct in the market and is seldom offered in auctions. Highly desirable amongst collectors.
