Full Description:

French India, 1937, Specimen Cinq Roupies (5 Rupees), Banque de l'Indochine, 1st Issue, Signed by Marcel Borduge & Paul Baudouin, S. No. 000, (KJ & RR # 13.2.1/Pick # 5s), exceptional paper quality, choice uncirculated, Extremely Rare.

Note: This is a flamboyantly gorgeous 5 Roupies banknote printed on watermarked white paper. This banknote has its original form and colors intact from the time of issue. Deep pastel undertones adorn the portrait of Marianne in a helmet on the left on the obverse. An image of a Cambodian girl and the ruins of Angkor Wat can be seen on the reverse. ‘SPECIMEN’ in perforations at the center. This is a rare opportunity for collectors to build a set of this series.
