Full Description: Gupta Dynasty, Samudragupta (335-370 CE), Gold Dinar, “Kacha" type, Obv: the king standing facing left, nimbate, holding a chakradhvaja (wheel-headed standard), adorned with a ribbon in his left hand and sacrificing over an altar, the Brahmi legend “Kacha” below the king's arm, a circular Brahmi legend “Kacho Gama(vajatya Divam Karmabhi)rutta(mair jayati)” around the field, Rev: the goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, standing facing left, holding a lotus in right hand, its stalk twisted and a cornucopia in her left hand, a tamgha in the left field, the Brahmi legend “Sarvarajochchhetta” in the right field, a dotted border around the field, 7.44g, 19.64mm, (Altekar, Bayana Hoard # Pl.
