Kadambas of Goa, Jayakesin II or III (11-12 Century CE), Gold Gadyana, Obv: a mythical lion (Sardula) standing with its reverted head facing the left, its tail curled against its back, and a front leg raised, the cyclic year in the Nagari legends in front of lion which reads "Durmati", Rev: the Nagari legend "Shri saptako/tisa labdhavaravi/ra jayakesideva/ Malavarama/ri" in five lines, 4.36g, 19.35mm, (Mitch # 237 type), with almost complete details visible on both sides and a linear border surrounded by dots, lovely struck, Gem UNC, Very Rare.
