Vijayanagara Empire, Tuluva Dynasty, Sadashivaraya (1543-1570 CE), Gold ½ Varaha, Obv: the God Lakshmi Narayana seated on a raised platform, Vishnu’s left hands holds a conch-shell (shankha) and the other is around his consort's waist, one right-hand holds a discus (chakra), while the other is in the abhayamudra gesture, Rev: the Nagari legend "Shri Sa/dashiva ra/ya" in three lines with two interlinear rules, 1.68g, 9.98mm, (Mitch.
