Full Description: Shah Jahan II, Rafi ud Daula (AH 1131/1719 AD), Shahjahanabad Dar-ul-Khilafa Mint, Gold Mohur, AH 1131/Ahad RY, Obv: Persian legend “Sikka Mubarak Badshah Ghazi Shah Jahan” with complete Hijri year 1131, Rev: Persian legend “sana ahad julus, manus maimanat” & “zarb Shahjahanabad” & with the epithet “Dar ul Khilafa” at the top, 11.8g, 20.33mm, (KM # 418.7), sharply struck, choice quality, about extremely fine, Extremely Rare. Note: Several contenders arose to claim the throne following Farrukhsiyar's death, including Shah Jahan II, Rafi ud-Daula. During his reign as the Mughal emperor, he ruled only for three months and twenty-eight days. It is extremely rare to find his gold coins.
