Full Description: Britsh India, 1943, Indian Title Badge Rai Sahib Medal with Original Letter, King George VI, Silver, Awarded to "Babu Hemanta Kumar Bhattacharyya", Obv: the British crown with a laurel wreath below it, portrait of King George VI facing left in the central circle, outer circle engraved with the title "RAI SAHIB" on blue enamel, all surmounted on a 5-pointed rayed star, Rev: awarded to "Babu Hemanta Kumar Bhattacharyya 1st jany. 1943" engraved, along with the ring & ribbon to wear, 50g, 45.48 X 58.35mm, (MYB 2007 # 327), packed in black rexine box, letter of conferring the award certificate, full length ribbon, superb quality, lovely toning and luster, Choice UNC, Exceedingly Rare.
