British India, 1917, King George V, 1 Rupee, Universalised Circle, Signed by M.M.S. Gubbay, G Prefix, S. No. G87 183263, (KJ & RR # 3.1.1B), state treasury seal at the back, Correct Gujarati, minor stain, graded by PMG as 64 Choice Uncirculated, Extremely Rare.

Note: This first banknote in the King George V portrait series was issued 106 years ago. It was issued as the Universalized banknote that can be used in any circle of British India. It has managed to survive with its original colour, and the crisp quality of the paper has maintained its sheer brilliance.
