Registered Air Mail Cover, 1948, Pondicherry to Marseille, Combination Cover of Stamp from Post-Independence of value 12 Annas and King George VI 1 Rupee affixed. The cover has a seal of Registered ‘R 945 PUDICHERRY’, dispatched from Pondicherry to Marseille (France) on 8 APR 48 with Pondicherry’s normal and registered postmark. Air Mail label in Blue affixed and typed text “Recommandee” endorsed, intact condition, Extremely Rare.
