Full Description: Jahandar Shah (AH 1124-1125 / 1712-1713 AD) Surat Mint, Silver ½ Rupee, Ahad RY, "Abu'l Fath" Couplet, Obv: Persian legend “dar aafaq zad sikka chun mehr-o-mah, Abu'l Fath ghazi Jahandar Shah”, Rev: Persian legend “sana ahad julus” & “zarb Surat” partly visible at the bottom with letter ‘Ain’ in ‘seen’ of julus, 5.5g, 20.74mm, (KM # 362.1), gashes on the edge, no test mark, sharp strike, about extremely fine, Very Rare. Note: On the reverse is a Persian ‘Ain’ representing the name of the Surat Governor who issued the coin.
