CIS-Kaithal, Desu Singh (1767-1781 AD), Sahrind Mint (off flan), Silver Rupee, "Qadir-e-Bechun" Couplet, In the name of Ahmad Shah Durrani, Obv: Persian legend "hukm shud az Qadir-e-bechun ba Ahmad Badshah, Sikka-e-zan bar seem-o-zar az auj mahi ta bamah" & a dot cluster within the letter "nun" of Bechun, Rev: a symbol of "swad" in Persian letter 'seen' of julus, 3 dots symbol to the right of "seen" of julus & "zarb Sahrind" off flan at the bottom, 11.20g, 18.60mm, (Saran & Dalwinder # KL 5b), no test mark, about very fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: These coins require more study. They bear the same three-dot design as the coins of Raja Amar Singh of Patiala, but with a dotted rosette within "N" of Bechun on the reverse, indicating Kaithal issues. It is possible that these are early issues of Desu Singh.
