Punch Marked Coin, Panchala Janapada (400-350 BC), Gorakhpur Hoard type, Silver ½ Karshapana, Archaic period, Scyphate, Obv: a bold punch of turtle, Rev: undertype of floral symbol, 2.1g, 11.37mm, (Unlisted), about very fine, Rare.

Note: In the past, many experts attributed this type to Malla Janapada coinage; however, it was later determined to be Panchala Janapada. In major numismatic literature, the turtle symbol is not recorded.
