Private Cover, King George VI period, 1937, 9 Pies stamp of George V tied, Commemoration of Burma’s Separation, it represents Burma’s separation from India by a colourful pictorial image of “MOTHER INDIA | AND | HER FAMILY | OF PROVINCES” with the date “1st April | 1937”. It is dispatched from “N. Naigamwala, Burma Stamp Agency, 112, 34th St., Rangoon” with a dispatch cancellation round seal “?? | 2 MA | 7 - ??”, addressed to “D.R. Burchell Esq., | Eastfield House, | Portobello, | Scotland.”, very good condition, Rare.

Note: It depicts the provinces of India during the reign of King George V in 1937. Sind, Baluchistan, Bombay Presidency, NWFP (North Western Frontier Province), Punjab (spelled incorrectly on the cover as Panjub), Delhi, Central Provinces, Bihar, Orissa, Assam, Bengal & Madras Presidency comprise these provinces.
