Delhi Sultanate, Suri Dynasty, Islam Shah (AH 952-960/1545-1552 AD), Retrograde legends on obverse, "Mintless" & "1477" Type, Silver Rupee, AH 960, Obv: Arabic legend Retrograde The Kalima Shahada within a square, the four Caliphs' names in the margin, Rev: Arabic legend "al-sultan bin al-sultan Jalal-ud Duniya wa’l din Abu’l Muzaffar" in the margin, "Islam Shah bin Sher Shah sultan khuld Allahu Mulkahu" with Hijri year within square & Nagari legend "Sri Islam Sahi" at the bottom, 10.8g, 34.24mm, (G&G # D980), test marks, about extremely fine, Rare.
