Full Description:

1840, Victoria Queen, Silver ½ Rupee, Mule, Calcutta Mint, no initials, 24 berries (12L+12R), the obverse of ‘Continuous Legend’ die is paired with the reverse of ‘Divided Legend’ die, Indian Head, (PR # 79/GK # 121), scratches, about very fine, Exceedingly Rare.

Note: This particular type stands out from the regular half rupees, as it features a unique combination of dies—pairing the obverse of a continuous legend with the reverse of a divided legend. It remains notably absent from numerous comprehensive collections of British India and has consistently proven to be an exceedingly rare type.
