Goddess Lakshmi is one of the most ubiquitous deities in Hinduism. This goddess is the consort of lord Shiva and is depicted in different forms, to bestow devotees with abundant adoration and to protect it from malevolence. This specimen is an exclusive coin since the lotus here is coherently manifested, other coins of this genre have a lotus in a tinier delineation but here the artistry of the engraver is conspicuous since the lotus is clearly seen with its petals diverging and opening to create an embrace of worship and pristine devotion upon which the goddess is standing transcending its grandeur beyond the realms of comprehension.
