Hoysala Dynasty of Dwarasamudra, Vinayaditya (1047-1098 AD), Gold Gadyana (Pagoda), Obv: maned lion or sardula walking to right with two headed bird gandaberunda above, lamp before, sun and moon above, Rev: three line legend in old kannada with interlinear rules 'Sri Ma/la Pa ro/lu Go nda', 3.97g, 16.44mm, (K. Ganesh # 8.4), about extremely fine, Very Rare.

The King Vinayaditya called himself 'Malaparolugonda' ('Lord of the Hills', from the original homeland in the western mountains of south India).
