1854, Half Anna Stamp on Cover (1+1), Die I and 1 franked on the cover at position A6, posted to Caption Ludlow, Jubbulpore (Jabalpur), 11th March 1857, good margins all four sides, very lightly used, Rare

Note: This cover and an additional stamp are excellently arranged, mounted and displayed in a collector’s exhibit style.

The chignon of the single half anna blue mounted above clearly exhibits the touch up so characteristic mark it more specifically as an example from position six of the "A", stone (the "B" stone has similar touches up). This petite cover bears another example of A6 with the touch-up more distinctly printed.
