British India, 1881, Second Afghanistan War Medal (1878-79-80), Victoria Queen, Silver, Awarded to "Private Gugaisur Passee", Obv: veiled profile of Queen Victoria facing left, legend around "VICTORIA REGINA ET IMPERATRIX", Rev: a figure of the marching army, with an elephant carrying cannon and soldiers mounted on the horses, legend "AFGHANISTAN & dates 1878-79-80" in exergue, with bar, engraved on the edge "PRIVATE GUGAISUR PASSEE, 10th REGT. BO. N. I.", 34.04g, 36.29x47.37mm, (MYB 2007 # 128), about very fine, Rare.
