Full Description:

Kushan Dynasty, Huvishka (160-190 CE), Gold Dinar, "Ardokhsho/MIOPO-MIORO (Sun God)" type, Main Mint in Bactria (Balkh?), Late phase, Obv: a half-length bust of the king, crowned with pointed jeweled earflap, diademed and nimbate,  facing left emerging from clouds, holding a mace-scepter in one hand and the hilt of his sword in the other, Bactrian legend “ÞAONANOÞAO OO-HÞKI K-OÞANO" “Shaonanoshao Ooishki Koshano” (King of Kings Huvishka, the Kushan) around the field, Rev: the goddess Ardokhsho standing, diademed and nimbate, facing right, ankle-length shawl clinging and wrapping around waist with end folds draping to right from left arm, extending cornucopia with both hands, tamgha on the right field, Bactrian legend "MIOPO" (Mioro) on the left field, dotted border around the field, 7.7g, 15.86mm, (Gobl#365/Shrava # 173), attractive quality, about very fine, Extremely Rare.

Note: The deity depicted on this coin is Goddess Ardoksho, but the legends on the reverse side present a fusion of two gods—Ardoksho, the fertility goddess, and Mioro, the sun god. The Bactrian legends are creatively inscribed, transitioning from ‘Ardoksho to Mioro’ in an intriguing manner. This coin stands as a captivating specimen from the era of Huvishka.
