Kushan Dynasty, Vasudeva II (275-310 CE), Gold Dinar, "Ardokhsho" type, Mint Gandhara, Obv: the diademed king, crowned and nimbate, standing facing the left, sacrificing over an altar, holding a filleted standard in his left hand, while a ribboned trident surmounts the altar, the Brahmi initials "Ga" under his raised left arm, “Bha” near his right foot, and "Vasu" to the outer right, Bactrian legend around, Rev: the goddess Ardokhsho enthroned, nimbate, facing forward, holding a cornucopia in her left hand and a diadem in her extended right hand, the Bactrian legend ("APΔOXþO" (ARODKHSHO) on the right field, a tamgha in upper left field, 7.8g, 19.35mm, (Gobl # 576/Jongward & Cribb # 1649), almost complete details visible, sharply struck, choice quality, almost uncirculated, Very Rare.
